Umbra Vitae is the new black metal band formed by Converge vocalist Jacob Bannon and Hatebreed guitarist Sean Martin. The group is heavier than anything Bannon has done before. Lyrically it pours out general dismay at Donald Trump’s handling of everything - particularly in the lack of response to the coronavirus epidemic.
